Designing a Smarter Way to Onboard and Manage Creative Teams

Marilia played a crucial role in shaping an amazing user experience. Beyond her design skills, her strategic thinking helped us build a clear roadmap, detailed personas, and wireframes that pushed the project forward. She took on multiple roles and consistently exceeded our expectations.

Overview

A design agency built a strong system for training designers and seamlessly onboarding them to work with different clients.

They wanted to turn this internal process into a product—something they could use in-house and offer to clients.

Problem

Onboarding creatives was a long, resource-heavy process. The team was relying on multiple disconnected tools for onboarding, brand guidelines, asset management, and creative workflows. They needed a centralized solution that streamlined everything in one place.

Our work

We set out to build a MVP that the team could test internally. Our goal was to prove its value, gather feedback, and refine the product before rolling it out to the agency’s clients—and eventually making it available to a broader audience.

I led the team through the discovery phase, helping to define what the product should be and ensuring we had a clear direction. My work included:

  • Researching competitors and interviewing users

  • Creating personas, mapping out user journeys and features

  • Leading brainstorming and feedback sessions

  • Designing user flows and building prototypes
